The Divine Gateways; a zone that connects many different universes together. Here the essence of all existence can be seen from along its paths, something so powerful, that anything that tries to get near it is obliterated within a mere instant. This kept the fabrics of reality together so that life could exist. What created this magnificent peace of work is unknown, but if it were to be destroyed, all life as we know it would come crashing down as reality breaks into nothingness.
During the past two decades, a powerful tyrant by the name of Genesis sought to destroy all existence by finding this marvel within the Dimensional Gateways. However, a powerful guardian named Xorn fought back this monstrosity. With his dimensional blade, the Ashkandi, he fought back Genesis at the gates until a fateful event happened. With a gleaming light that emanated from the central core, the powerful essence that held reality together, Genesis had disappeared completely. Xorn was a powerful being, having the bloodlines of multiple species in his DNA, and was decreed a Dimensional Guardian who has lived for over two thousand years. Despite this, Genesis was found to be too powerful for any one human to handle.
Xorn returned to Garia, where he had gathered many homeless races in need of refuge. There he helped build a form of government that consisted of many different races in the form of a Great Council. With the combined minds of humans, anthropomorphs, and other races, they were able to create a highly advanced society where they had a second chance at life within just a few years. Garia's capital city was thusly named Yeniden, meaning Rebirth.
After two or so more years of ensuring the planet's positive progress, Xorn provided much presence in the well being of the people. Now, he waits for the coming calamity he feels dawning upon the realm, and prepares for the storm to come.
