Hatizu was a just a regular boy on his home planet, Almia, up until the day that he found a small stone, which inside was the power of the element of fire. He lived on the continent of Cantuun, the Nation of Fire. Hatizu remembered his only parent being a man with long, silver hair, a man named Serriome. Serriome trained Hatizu for in all the ways he knew, until the day came that he had to leave. He only told the young Hatizu that he was need elsewhere, on a distant continent called Cotan, the young man didn't know that meant a different planet entirely. When the boy came of age, he started to look into joining the nation's army. His powers over the fire being a great advantage to him. People recognized he wasn't born with the gift as the other Almians were, and knew the hardships within this young man to use them. After graduation, the King of the fire nation called for Hatizu to become a High Guardian of Fire, an extremely high rank, especially for him. Eventually, the power from the fire crystal began to seep into Hatizu, giving him the natural ability over this element. He continued to serve his country and one day, his father figure returned. Serriome gave the boy a crystal from around his neck, then said his goodbyes, telling the Guardian he was heading for another area called Garia to meet up with a good friend named Kazu. Afterward, a normal sized man came up to Hatizu, and challenged him to a fight. Acknowledging the request, Hatizu fought against the man, and somehow lost. After being knocked unconsious, Hatizu was transported into a metallic room that seemed to shake.

Then he found himself walking around Garia. Looking back, he noticed a small ship, which had his footsteps coming from it. He looked up in the sky, this strangely brighter blue sky. It seemed to him that he had been moved off of Almia, but he didn't yet know the name of this planet. He made his way to the first veiwable city, after, of course grabbing his supplies from the room in the pod that he was placed on. Barely consious, Hatizu walked into the front gate, then passed out. His eyes opened to see a human and a wolf standing above him, and the wolf spoke to him no less. He jumped up and was given some water, which he drank to learn their names to be Kazu and Slander. Joining the two, Hatizu soon met another Almian, named Nerifes, who was also a mage. Two women, Luciana and Rem, were met soon after. A strange character came in later, one who dubbed himself Magnus. This one wore a mask, and remained a mystery to Hatizu

The Crimson Sear soon heard a story of Serriome being on the same planet, and went off searching, only to find out he'd returned to Almia. His destination was home, and he was eager to return. Slander joined Hatizu out of Curiosity of the planet, and Magnus followed as well. The Serriome the Mage had followed was nothing but an imposter, and the real Serriome showed up when the imposter attacked. He took an unconscious Hatizu, fallen from the battle, back to Garia, where they headed to an advanced hospital. Unfortunately, a man named Kaine shot both Hatizu and Serriome, taking the two of them out. A memorial service was held for Serriome, and Hatizu woke up three months afterward, missing an arm.
