Kazu : The Dimensional Guardian

Weapons: Etherial, A two handed claymore that has a blue lining in the center of the blade that runs down to the tip. It was forged with silver in the dimensional gateways as a counterpart to Xorn's Ashkandi. The name is a slight reference to the blade is not completely in one reality. This is Kazu's primary weapon, and has spent many years creating his own unique style for it. The blade rests on a clip on Kazu's back.
Shokunogi, a double bladed sword that can seperate into twin shortswords, Shoku and Nogi. These are dark blades that are summoned from the void when Kazu accesses his genetic dark powers. This becomes Kazu's weapon of choice when in the rare occasions he switches into his fox form.

Description: An enigmatic figure at first glance, Kazu is a rather lighthearted fellow who travels the universe to learn what it means to be a Dimensional Guardian. He has yellow eyes, and rather unkept black hair of decent length. He wears black robes with yellow outlines etched throughout it's cloth, complete with intricite designs to show it has some runic protection within. Despite wielding a two handed sword, Kazu is known more for his speed rather than his strength. He has a somewhat sarcastic personality, most likely to keep his cool, but keeps true to his allies when the need is given. He has a quickly to recognize toothy grin that he tends to spout out in the midst of many of his sarcastic ploys to his friends, and on occasion, his enemies.

Background: Kazu was originally from Orion, a planet that was one of many to fall to a warlord bent on gaining some form of power. At the age of 4 he witnessed his mother's gruesome death at the hand's of the supposed warlord, and was taken from his home because they saw potential in him as a weapon. His mind was completely gone when he was forced to undergo genetic experiments conducted by the warlord's scientific minds. Here he was genetically altered with some unknown race of anthropomorphs that resulted in him turning into a fox. Afterwards he was trained by a mercenary in the warlord's army by the very name he goes by today, Kazu. The mercenary had a similiar power that the warlord had, and after many years of guilt for the child, used the very power to free the child's mind of the corruption. It once again altered the childs genetic structure to where he could use the power of darkness. However, this caused the Mercenary to die relatively quickly, and at the age of 16, the kid was lost without knowing what had transpired. He could not remember his own name, so he took the name of his savior and went on a journey to discover his past and to defeat the warlord.

Sometime during the journey, he tracked the warlord to have been based on a distant planet from Orion, where he ran across Xorn. He saw something in the current fox, and instructed Kazu to seek out a being that would help him restore his human self and his memories, even the ones of his corruption. This led to one last genetic alteration within him, and thus he now had the power of light as well. After this, Xorn handed him the Etherial, and took him in as his pupil as a Dimensional Guardian. Kazu would accept this offer, but not until he finished his mission that he had begun when he saw his mother die. With the Etherial, and the combined strength of many allies that he met during this journey, they were able to slay the warlord and lay rest to many years of destruction brought about.

Finally the day came when he would take a ship to Garia, and meet Xorn. Upon arrival, Xorn showed him the city of Yeniden and what he had done during Kazu's journey. After a month of stay here, where he learned many things, Kazu sat atop the high council's main building, looking out to the bright blue sky.
